Welcome to Day 15 of On My DVR’s coverage of the XXX Olympiad!
We will endeavor to bring you all of the news you care about on as real time a basis as life allows (so check back often each day!) including details on where you can catch the best events and the medal count because everyone cares about who brings home the gold!
UPDATED FOR RESULTS …
Saturday, August 11, 2012 As the evening session wears on with the completion of Women’s Basketball gold Medal Game and Men’s 10m Platform diving, Team USA had a slow morning and afternoon session with only Georgia Gould pulling a bronze in the Cycling, Women’s Mountain Bike. In Men’s Wresting Freestyle (60kg), American Coleman Scott pulled a Bronze medal where you don’t typically expect USA to contend. In track, it was not a great day for the red, White and Blue on the last full day of competition with Team USA only capturing 3 of the 24 medals up for grabs (Brigetta Barrett with a silver in Women’s High Jump, Gold in the Women’s 4x400m Relay and Silver in the Men’s 4x100m Relay). USA Track needs to up its game for Rio! In Women’s Volleyball, USA grabbed the silver. Just as we were about to publish this update, American David Boudia has snatched the gold medal from China in the Men’s 10m Platform diving event.
Saturday, August 11, 2012 Only one more day of Glory. Lots of Boxing, Basketball, Wrestling and Track all day!
