1. TV Tonight! Lots of Summer Show Premieres tonight including NBC’s ridiculous show, Love in the Wild, and the return of Season 2 of The Glee Project on Oxygen.
- NBC has an hour of America’s Got Talent at 8 followed by the two hour season premiere of Love in the Wild.
- Fox’s second night of all Gordon Ramsay all the time continues with Hell’s Kitchen at 8 and MasterChef at 9.
- ABC gets royal with the two hour special, Concert for the Queen: A Diamond Jubilee Celebration With Katie Couric.
- CW offers a new The Catalina at 8.
- On cable, TNT has the season premieres of Rizzoli & Isles at 9 and Franklin & Bash at 10; A&E has the season premiere of Storage Wars with two new episodes at 10 and 10:30; ABC Family has the season premieres of Pretty Little Liars at 8 and Jane By Design at 9; and Oxygen has The Glee Project (the top 14 are chosen) at 9 and the first competition episode at 10.
2. Casting News. The news that Jerry O’Connell has been cast as Herman Munster in Mockingbird Lane (which looks absolutely god awful) makes me feel sad for him. In Bryan Fuller’s other series this fall, Hannibal, largely unknown actor Mads Mikkelsen has been cast as the eponymous character.
3. Ratings News. Here is great ratings news for two shows that deserve it, Game of Thrones and A&E’s newest drama, Longmire (stay tuned for TV Watcher’s favorable Keep or Delete review of this great new cop procedural /western drama hybrid).

4. In Who Cares Legal News … ABC announced its cast of Glass House Housetestants while CBS continues its infringement lawsuit (you know, for stealing the Big Brother concept). In other ABC legal news that no one really cares about, The Bachelor is not racist, they just don’t like black people.
