1. TV Tonight! I will suggest Common Law at 10 and … not much of anything else, although AMC’s airing of Shawshank Redemption is a tempting option.
- NBC has a two hour Dateline NBC starting at 9.
- ABC has the more tantalizing news mag show with a 20/20 featuring John Edwards’ mistress, Rielle Hunter telling all.
- On cable, Discovery has an exciting night of Deadliest Catch at 8, Deadly Seas at 9 and Flying Wild Alaska at 10; AMC is airing Shawshank Redemption from 8-11; and USA Network as brand new Common Law at 10.
2. Ratings News. We are so happy that Bieber’s Wednesday night special was a flop because no one should have Bieber Fever. In other ratings news, TV Watcher favorite and special project, Breaking Pointe, pulled numbers even week over week (0.3 demo in 18-49 and 0.9 million viewers). At least they’re not going down but they really should be going up!
