1. TV Tonight! I’d suggest the weirdo walking across the Falls but there is no suspense there so, tune into Fairly Legal‘s season finale and then Common Law
- NBC has a two hour Dateline NBC starting at 9.
- ABC has Countdown to Niagara: The Greatest Megastunts of All Time at 8 and then Megastunts — Highwire Over Niagara Falls – Live! from 9-11. It can’t possibly take 2 hours to walk across Niagara Falls, can it? Also, they are requiring Mr. Wallenda to wear a safety harness so if he can’t fall and die, why are we watching?
- Discovery has an all new night of outdoorsy shows with Deadliest Catch at 8, Deadly Seas at 9 and Flying Wild Alaska at 10; USA Network has the season finale of Fairly Legal at 9 and a new Common Law at 10; and TLC has the two episode season premiere of Say Yes to the Dress followed by the series premiere of Randy to the Rescue (SYTTD spinoff show).
2. NBC’s Fall Premiere Dates. Its seems too far away still with Summer in its infancy but the Peacock has released its Fall premiere date schedule and why is Community bumped to October? Stupid NBC!

3. Cast Additions and Promotions! A busy day in the casting world with Jeremy Jordan (Broadway’s Newsies) has been added to Smash as a series regular for season 2; the beautiful Meghan Ory (Ruby/Red Riding Hood) has been promoted to series regular for Once Upon a Time‘s season 2; John Cho (FlashForward) has been promoted to series regular in Matthew Perry’s new comedy, Go On, premiering this Fall (well, really late Summer); the awesome Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation) will have a recurring role in next season’s Warehouse 13 and The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Robert Patrick (Terminator 2, upcoming ABC drama, Last Resort) has been cast in True Blood as Alcide’s father, appearing later this season.
4. The Updated Lineup for Comic-Con 2012! I still don’t understand what Glee is doing there but whatever …
