1. TV Tonight! You’re on your own tonight folks, we will be catching up with DVR backlog.
- CBS has a new 48 Hours Mystery at 10.
- NBC has new America’s Got Talent at 9 and Love in the Wild at 10.
- Fox continues the Summer of Gordon with new Hell’s Kitchen at 8 and MasterChef at 9.
- ABC has coverage of the first NBA Final all night (Thunder vs the Heat).
- CW has a new The Catalina at 8.
- On cable, A&E has the series premiere of Barter Kings at 9 and 9:30 followed by new Storage Wars at 10 and 10:30; TNT has Rizzoli & Isles at 9 and Franklin & Bash at 10; MTV starts a new season of Teen Mom at 10; and HGTV has a new night of programming with Property Brothers at 8, Design Star at 9, House Hunters at 10 and House Hunters International at 10:30.
2. Showtime Pick Ups! Showtime has picked up to series (12 episode seasons), Ray Donovan (which sounds like Scandal) and Masters of Sex (which sounds like an original show on Skinemax Cinemax). We will still not be purchasing Showtime.
3. Casting News! Disney Child Star, Ashley Tisdale, is shedding her kiddie image with a recurring arc on the upcoming season of Sons of Anarchy, playing an escort. Meanwhile, Joseph Fiennes is heavily rumored to be circling a role on season 2 of American Horror Story (on FX).
4. More Gordon? Really? Hotel Hell, Gordon Ramsay’s latest project, has an August 13 premiere date on Fox. Effing Donkehs he’s busy!
