1.  TV Tonight!  As the TV season officially ended yesterday with the conclusion of May sweeps, its only fitting that tonight sees the premiere of several shows while only Awake goes off into that good, long night.

  • NBC only has the series finale of Awake tonight, at 10.
  • Fox launches the newest season of the best reality competition show on TV, So You Think You Can Dance (Dallas and New York auditions).
  • ABC launches its Summertime competition show, Duets, from 8-10 followed the season premiere of the Summer series, Rookie Blue.
  • CW has Perez Hilton All Access tonight at 8 (with Lady Gaga).
  • On cable, TBS launches its new comedy series, Men at Work (not the Charlie Sheen/Emilio Estevez movie), with two episodes at 10 and 10:30; TLC is cock full of new shows tonight with Undercover Boss: Abroad at 8, the premiere of On the Fly at 9 and 9:30 and the premiere of Tattoo School at 10 and 10:30; and Nat geo has the Geo Bee 2012 from 8-10.

2. Casting News! There is this on Mockingbird Lane and this on recasting woes at several new series.

3.  Hope for Favorite Shows.  Yesterday, it surfaced that Amazon is in talks with reviving ABC’s cancelled period drama, Pan Am.  I want to be excited but feel like this might be Netflix redux. In confirmed news, the Science Channel has picked up rights to air Fringe in its first syndication deal.

4.  This guy won American Idol. Congrats, I guess?

Good job America? I guess? I don't really care. (FOX)

5.  Oh they are about to throw stones (get it? Cause its a Glass House?)

6.  Jim Parsons is gay. Does this surprise anyone?
